air fryer keeps flashing and beeping but won't start cooking, what am i doing wrong?

This is a safety lockout. The cooking pot or basket is not correctly installed.

Remove the pot and basket. Ensure the basket is properly seated in the pot, and that the pot assembly is fully and squarely inserted into the unit until it clicks.
