hawkins pressure cooker making a hissing sound and steam leaking from the sides during cooking, how do i fix this?

Check the sealing ring. First, verify it's seated flush in the lid curl and the lid is centered. If it still leaks, try moving the ring around or inverting it. Replace the ring if it's hardened, cracked, or no longer seals after adjustment.
