apec roes-50 water output is super slow, barely a trickle. filters are new.

Low incoming water pressure is the most common cause for slow output.

The system requires sufficient feed water pressure to operate correctly. Check and address these points in order:

  • Verify the feed water adapter shut-off valve is fully open (handle vertical).
  • Ensure the main cold water supply valve under the sink is fully open.
  • Check for kinks in the red feed water supply line or the clear faucet output line.

If that didn't work, the problem may be at the drain.

  • Inspect the black drain line. Ensure it is not kinked or pinched.
  • Check the drain saddle installation. The hole in the saddle must align perfectly with the 1/4" hole you drilled in the drain pipe. Misalignment blocks drain water and damages the membrane, slowing production.
  • DO NOT remove the flow control component inside the black drain tubing.

Operating parameter: Feed water temperature must be between 40–100°F (4-37°C). Very cold water can slow the membrane.
