bose 600 keeps randomly disconnecting from my wifi every day, have to reboot it to reconnect

DIAGNOSIS This is usually a conflict with your router's settings, not a fault with the soundbar itself. The most common culprits are 'band steering' (which mixes 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks) or channel interference.

FIX Log into your home router's admin settings (usually via a web browser). Find the wireless settings. 1) Look for an option called 'Band Steering' or 'Smart Connect' and turn it OFF. 2) Create separate, distinct network names (SSIDs) for your 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands. For example, 'MyWiFi_2G' and 'MyWiFi_5G'. 3) Connect your Bose 600 to the 2.4GHz network specifically. It's more stable for smart devices even if it's slower. Use the Bose Music app to forget the network and re-setup the connection, choosing the 2.4GHz one.

IF THAT DIDN'T WORK Your router might be assigning a new IP address that confuses the soundbar. In your router settings, look for 'DHCP Reservation' or 'Static IP Assignment'. Assign a permanent IP address to your Bose soundbar (you'll need its MAC address, found in the Bose Music app under 'Settings' > 'System' > 'Soundbar 600').

HEADS UP Keep the soundbar away from large metal objects, fish tanks, or microwaves that can cause interference. A simple router reboot once a month can also clear up glitches that cause devices to drop off.
