Yes, but you need to switch it to winter operation mode to prevent carburetor icing. The setting is for temperatures below +10°C (50°F).
Procedure:
- Remove the carburetor box cover.
- Lift out the intake air shutter (located in front of the spark plug) vertically.
- Turn the shutter 180 degrees.
- Refit the shutter and reinstall the carburetor box cover.
If that didn't work: Ensure you're using the correct fuel mix. Also, after a long period of full-throttle operation, allow the engine to run at idle speed so heat can dissipate. This protects the ignition and carburetor from thermal overload.
Critical note: At temperatures above +20°C (68°F), you must close the shutter again. Leaving it open in warm weather causes engine running problems and overheating.
