First, power off the printer completely. The scanner glass is the flat, clear surface under the lid.
Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water. Gently wipe the glass. Do not use alcohol, ammonia, or any harsh cleaners, as they can damage the surface.
Let it dry completely before closing the lid and turning the printer back on.
