DIAGNOSIS Using the wrong cleaner or cloth will permanently damage the anti-glare coating. Windex, paper towels, and rough fabrics are the enemy.
FIX Use only a dry, ultra-soft microfiber cloth first. Gently wipe in one direction with light pressure. For smudges, slightly dampen a second microfiber cloth with distilled water only. Wipe gently, then immediately dry with the first dry cloth.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK For stubborn spots, use a 50/50 mix of distilled white vinegar and distilled water. Spray the solution onto the microfiber cloth, never directly onto the screen. Test in a bottom corner first.
HEADS UP Never use alcohol, ammonia, window cleaner, or abrasive cleaners. Never apply pressure or scrub in circles. The screen coating is delicate and irreplaceable.
