Diagnosis
Dust, pollen, or bird droppings are blocking sunlight, reducing charge efficiency.
How to Fix It
Disconnect the solar panel cable from the camera first. Use a soft, dry cloth or a duster to remove loose debris. For stuck-on dirt, dampen a cloth with plain water only. Gently wipe the panel surface. Dry immediately with a separate soft cloth. Reconnect the cable.
If That Didn't Work
After cleaning, monitor the charging status in the app for several sunny days. If performance doesn't improve, the issue may be seasonal (shorter days, sun angle). Temporarily use the USB-C cable for a full charge.
Heads Up
Never use abrasive cleaners, window spray, or solvents. They can permanently damage the panel's anti-glare coating. Do not spray water directly onto the panel or its ports.
