DIAGNOSIS: The internal condensate tank is full, triggering an auto-shutoff to prevent overflow, even if the removable external tank looks empty.
FIX: This unit has two tanks: the one you pull out and a smaller internal reservoir. Unplug the unit. Pull out the main tank, empty it, and reinsert firmly. Then, locate drain plug on the back (a rubber stopper). Place the unit near a floor drain or put a shallow pan underneath, pull the stopper, and let the internal reservoir drain completely. Reinsert the stopper securely.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK: If the light blinks immediately after a full drain, the float sensor inside the internal tank is stuck in the 'full' position. Gently tap the side of the unit near the tank area to free it. If persistent, the sensor is faulty.
HEADS UP: In very humid conditions, the internal tank fills much faster than the external one. You may need to use the continuous drain hose option (accessory) to bypass the tanks entirely.
