my coffee pot is leaking water from the bottom onto my counter, what's causing that?

Check three things. First, the water reservoir may be overfilled beyond the 12-cup line.

Second, ensure the cover is correctly placed and tightened on the carafe.

Third, verify the carafe is placed securely onto the carafe plate.
