my lg c3 keeps asking me to run pixel cleaning every time i turn it off, how do i make it stop?

DIAGNOSIS The TV's automatic pixel refresher is set to run after every 4 hours of cumulative use. The notification is normal, but it shouldn't be a demand every single time unless there's a glitch or you're interrupting the process.

FIX When the message pops up, let it run. Do NOT unplug the TV or cut power during the cleaning. It takes about 5-10 minutes and the TV will turn itself off completely when it's done. The red standby light will blink during this process. After it completes successfully, the prompt shouldn't appear again until another 4 hours of use accumulate.

IF THAT DIDN'T WORK If the prompt is appearing more frequently than that, or immediately after a cleaning, there might be a software bug. Try a factory reset. Go to Settings > All Settings > General > System > Reset to Initial Settings. This will clear all your apps and logins, but it often resolves nagging notification loops.

HEADS UP Never, ever pull the plug to skip this. The pixel refresher is critical for preventing permanent image retention (burn-in) on OLED panels. Letting it run is the single best thing you can do for your TV's long-term health.
