DIAGNOSIS You're getting a power interruption. The most common culprit is the 3-amp fuse on the circuit board blowing. These grills are power-hungry and sensitive to voltage dips.
FIX Unplug the grill and let it cool. Open the control panel on the hopper. On the main circuit board, you'll see a small, clear 3-amp fuse. Pull it out and check if the thin wire inside is broken or blackened. Replace it with an exact 3-amp replacement fuse. Don't go higher or you'll risk frying the board.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK Check your outdoor GFCI outlet. These grills can sometimes trip them. Try a different, non-GFCI outlet (with a heavy-duty extension cord rated for 15 amps) for a test run to rule out the outlet being the issue.
HEADS UP If the fuse keeps blowing, you've got a deeper electrical gremlin, likely a bad auger motor or fan motor drawing too much current. That's a service call.
