HEADS UP The thermostat creates its own temporary setup network. If you have 'Smart Network Switch' or 'Auto Network Switch' enabled on your phone, it may leave this network. Disable these features in your phone's Wi-Fi settings during setup.

the temperature reading on the thermostat is wrong, it's showing 75 but the room feels like 68.

HEADS UP The Sensi Touch does not have a user-accessible calibration offset. If the sensor is faulty and relocation doesn't help, the unit will require service or replacement.

getting an 'e1' error code on the screen and the furnace won't run. what is that?

Disconnect the low-voltage wires one at a time from the control board (Y, G, W) until the E1 error clears when you restore power to the thermostat. The last wire disconnected is the circuit with the short. HEADS UP A common cause is the condensate overflow safety switch on high-efficiency furnaces. If the drain line is clogged, this switch can close, creating a short between R and C that triggers E1. Check and clear the drain line.

why does my sensi touch keep switching from 'heat' to 'off' by itself? i didn't program that.
