DIAGNOSIS ERH is a feed error. The auger is failing to deliver pellets to the fire pot at the correct rate, causing the flame to go out.
FIX This is almost always a jam in the auger tube. Turn the grill off and unplug it. Empty the pellet hopper completely. Use the supplied cleaning rod or a long, flexible wire. Insert it into the auger intake at the bottom of the hopper. Push firmly to clear any compacted sawdust or broken pellet blocking the auger. You may need to rotate the auger by hand (through the cleanout port at the back) while pushing.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK Check the auger motor itself. Listen when you start a startup cycle—you should hear a distinct humming from the motor under the hopper. If silent, the motor or its wiring has failed.
HEADS UP Always use high-quality, dry hardwood pellets. Cheap pellets with excess sawdust or moisture are the main cause of auger jams.
