Diagnosis
The infrared (IR) sensor on the soundbar is obstructed or the remote's signal is being blocked. The primary causes are a physical barrier, weak batteries, or direct, bright light interference.
How to Fix It
Replace the remote batteries. Use two new AAA batteries. Ensure they are inserted with correct polarity. Remove any protective plastic film from the remote's IR window. Aim the remote directly at the soundbar's front-center IR sensor.
If That Didn't Work
Check for physical obstruction. The IR sensor is behind the dark plastic strip on the front of the soundbar. Clean the area with a dry cloth. Ensure no objects, cabinet doors, or TV stand lips are blocking the direct line of sight.
Heads Up
The remote is IR-only, not RF. It requires a direct, unobstructed line of sight to the soundbar. It will not work from another room or around corners.
