DIAGNOSIS The dust collection shroud is misaligned or the rubber adapter is missing. The XSH03Z has a specific dust port design.
FIX Check the rubber dust port adapter. It snaps onto the saw's outlet. Make sure it is fully seated and not torn. If using a vacuum hose, push it firmly onto the rubber adapter. The fit should be tight.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The internal dust chute inside the saw body may be clogged with compacted sawdust. Use compressed air to blow it out from the blade guard area backwards through the port.
HEADS UP Never operate the saw with the dust port rubber adapter removed. Sawdust will directly enter the motor and trigger housing, causing overheating and switch failure.
