Diagnosis
This is almost always a failed UI (User Interface) board or a blown thermal fuse on the main control board. A power surge or moisture can kill them.
How to Fix It
Unplug the dishwasher for 5 minutes. Plug it back in. If still dead, you need to access the controls. Remove the inner door panel. Check the ribbon cable connection between the UI board and main board. Reseat it firmly. If no change, the UI board (part number W11394631) is likely bad.
If That Didn't Work
The main control board may have a blown thermal fuse. It's a small white component soldered to the board. This requires a multimeter to test and soldering skills to replace. Most homeowners replace the entire main control board, part number W11394630.
Heads Up
When reinstalling the door panel, route all wires carefully. A pinched wire can cause a short and fry the new board. Ensure the door gasket seals completely to keep moisture out.
