Diagnosis
A dead control panel with internal power suggests a failed control panel unit or a loose internal connector, not a total power loss.
How to Fix It
First, confirm power at the outlet. Next, perform a hard reset. Turn off the circuit breaker for the dishwasher for five minutes. Restore power. If the panel remains dead, the issue is internal. The main control board may still be sending power, but the UI (User Interface) board is dead.
If That Didn't Work
The wiring harness connecting the main board to the control panel may be disconnected or damaged. This requires removing the door panel to inspect.
Heads Up
The faint hum is likely the control board receiving power. Do not attempt to remove the door panel without first disconnecting power at the breaker.
