DIAGNOSIS: Yeah, this one's common. It's usually not the remote itself, but interference. The Q60D uses Bluetooth for the remote, and something nearby is drowning out the signal, or the TV's Bluetooth receiver is being blocked.
FIX: First, replace the remote batteries even if they seem fine—Bluetooth is power-hungry. Then, power cycle the TV (unplug for a minute). With the TV on, hold the 'Return' and 'Play/Pause' buttons on the remote pointed at the TV for 3-5 seconds until a pairing message pops up. This re-pairs the remote and often clears the lag.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK: Look for physical interference. A soundbar right below the TV, a USB hard drive plugged into the side, or even dense furniture next to the TV can block the signal. Try moving any electronics or large metal objects away from the immediate front of the TV.
HEADS UP: If you have a lot of smart home gadgets (especially smart bulbs or hubs on 2.4GHz), they can cause Bluetooth interference. Try turning other devices off temporarily to test. Also, Samsung's SmartThings app can fully control the TV as a remote alternative.
