DIAGNOSIS Yeah, this one's common. Moisture or grease has gotten under the glass control panel, or the touch control board itself is failing and sending phantom signals.
FIX First, power the range off at your home's circuit breaker for a full minute. This does a hard reset of the main board. If that doesn't clear it, you need to clean under the control panel. The panel is sealed, so you can't just wipe under it—it requires removing the backguard and carefully unplugging the control ribbon cables to access the board for cleaning.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK If cleaning the board and connections doesn't stop the ghost touches, the touch control board (part # DC97-22330A) is probably fried and needs replacing.
HEADS UP Don't just spray cleaner on the glass. It will seep in and make the problem worse. If you're not comfortable disassembling the backguard, call a tech.
