DIAGNOSIS The grill's Wi-Fi module has likely lost its pairing or is struggling with a 2.4GHz network conflict. It only works on 2.4GHz networks.
FIX Re-pair from scratch. On the grill controller, hold the 'Wi-Fi' button for 3+ seconds until the light blinks blue. In the Traeger app, delete the old grill profile and run 'Add New Grill.' Follow the in-app prompts precisely.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK Your home network might be the issue. Temporarily disable the 5GHz band on your router or create a dedicated 2.4GHz guest network with a simple password (no special characters) for the grill to connect to.
HEADS UP The grill's Wi-Fi signal is weak. If it's more than 15-20 feet from the router or through several walls, consider a Wi-Fi extender. The module is also sensitive to router firmware updates.
