Diagnosis
Yeah, this one's common. The camera has power, but it's lost its Wi-Fi connection. This often happens after a router reboot, a Wi-Fi password change, or if the signal at the mount point is just too weak or unstable.
How to Fix It
First, check your router—make sure the 2.4GHz band (which this camera requires) is enabled and broadcasting. The fastest fix is often to power cycle the camera: unplug it, wait 30 seconds, and plug it back in. Wait a few minutes for it to fully reboot and attempt to reconnect. If that fails, you'll need to re-add it to the app via the QR code setup process.
If That Didn't Work
The issue might be signal strength. If possible, temporarily move the camera and its power source closer to your router to test the setup. If it works there, you need a Wi-Fi extender or a better router placement for the permanent install.
Heads Up
During re-setup, your phone needs to be connected to the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network, not the 5GHz. The app will prompt you for this, but people miss it all the time.
