Diagnosis
Absolutely, and a lot of people do. The stock stand is a monster. The G6 uses a standard 100x100mm VESA mount pattern.
How to Fix It
To remove the stand, lay the monitor face down on a soft cloth. Firmly grip the neck of the stand and press the quick-release button located where the neck meets the monitor's backplate. Pull the neck straight down to detach it. This reveals the VESA mounting holes. Attach any compatible 100x100mm arm or stand.
If That Didn't Work
If the stand feels stuck, double-check you're pressing the correct button—it's the only one on that plastic housing. Don't force it; wiggling slightly while pulling down usually does it.
Heads Up
This monitor is relatively heavy and has a deep curve, so make sure your monitor arm is rated for the weight (check the specs) and that the tilt mechanism is sturdy enough to handle the off-center center of gravity without sagging.
