DIAGNOSIS No. The Ring Indoor Cam (any generation) is not weather-resistant or rated for outdoor use.
FIX You must use an Indoor Cam indoors only. For an outdoor spot under an eave, you need a Ring Stick Up Cam (battery, plug-in, or solar), Ring Spotlight Cam, or Floodlight Cam. They are designed for temperature extremes and moisture.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK If you're determined to risk it, understand that humidity and temperature swings will void the warranty and likely kill the electronics quickly. Condensation will form inside the lens.
HEADS UP Using it outdoors violates the warranty. If it fails, Ring Support will identify the environment as the cause and deny a replacement. It's a strict indoor-only product.
