honeywell t9 smart thermostat won't connect to my wireless sensor, how do i pair it?

The sensor requires a manual reset to enter pairing mode.

Fix:

1. Press and hold the button on the wireless sensor for 15 seconds. The LED on the sensor will turn Amber.
2. Go to your thermostat. Press the Menu area.
3. Navigate to Devices and Sensors.
4. Select Sensors and follow the on-screen instructions to add the sensor.

IF THAT DIDN'T WORK: Ensure the sensor is within range. The thermostat has up to a 200-foot range, but this can be reduced by home construction and interference. Bring the sensor closer to the thermostat for initial pairing.
