Use a dry cloth or a soft non-metallic brush. Do not use water or any cleaning solutions.
- Remove the battery pack from the tool and charger.
- Wipe the exterior and the metal terminals with the dry cloth.
- For stuck-on debris, use the soft brush gently.
Critical: Before cleaning, ensure the battery terminals are not in contact with other metal objects like keys, coins, nails, or screws. Shorting the terminals can cause burns or a fire.
If there is liquid residue: If liquid has been ejected from the battery under abusive conditions, avoid contact. If contact occurs, flush with water immediately. If it contacts eyes, seek medical help.
Storage protocol: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and metal objects. For long storage, store it fully charged.
