Diagnosis
The WatchFree+ app and its promoted channels are baked into the SmartCast interface and cannot be fully deleted, but you can minimize their presence.
How to Fix It
Remove the WatchFree+ row from your home screen and disable auto-play.
1. On the Home screen, navigate to the WatchFree+ row.
2. Press the asterisk (*) button on your remote.
3. Select 'Remove from Home Screen'. The row will vanish.
4. Go to Menu > Admin & Privacy > Privacy > Viewing Data. Turn OFF 'Smart Interactivity' to disable auto-playing previews.
If That Didn't Work
If the row reappears after a reboot, perform a 'Soft Power Cycle' (Menu > Reset & Admin). This often clears forced app updates that re-pin the row.
Heads Up
You cannot uninstall the WatchFree+ app itself. The 'Remove from Home Screen' option is the only way to de-clutter. It may return after major system updates, requiring you to remove it again.
