how do i know if my ryobi p215 battery is charged?

— asked by Sam

Press the battery indicator button. It's the simplest way.

  • Press the button on the ONE+ 18V Lithium+ battery. LEDs will light to show charge level.
  • All lights on: Full or nearly full charge.
  • Fewer lights: Partial charge. One flashing light: Very low, needs charging.
  • No lights: Battery is completely depleted or faulty.

If that didn't work, the battery may need charging or could be defective.

  1. Place it on a compatible ONE+ charger. A charging light should activate.
  2. If no lights appear on the charger or battery after 30 minutes, try a different charger.
  3. If a different, known-good battery works in your drill, your original battery is likely dead.

Heads up: Register your tool within 30 days of purchase at ryobitools.eu to extend the European warranty to 3 years.
