how do i reset the wi-fi on my liftmaster smart opener? it just shows offline in the app

DIAGNOSIS The Wi-Fi module (usually a small blue light on the motor unit) has lost its connection to your home network or needs a fresh setup.

FIX Perform a Wi-Fi module reset and re-pair.
1. On the motor unit, find the Wi-Fi module. Press and hold its button until the blue light blinks rapidly (about 10 seconds).
2. On your phone, go to Wi-Fi settings and connect to the network named "LiftMaster-XXXX" (it's a direct hotspot from the opener).
3. Open the MyQ app. It should automatically detect the opener and guide you through re-connecting it to your home's 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. You'll need your home Wi-Fi password.

IF THAT DIDN'T WORK Your router may have updated or changed settings. Ensure you're using a 2.4 GHz band (the opener doesn't support 5 GHz), and that your router isn't using WPA3-only security—try WPA2/WPA3 mixed mode.

HEADS UP The MyQ app requires an internet connection to communicate with the opener remotely. If you're home, you can still use the wall button or remote. The 'offline' status is an app-to-cloud issue.
