DIAGNOSIS The hose connection is a tight press-fit. It feels stuck but has a specific release method.
FIX At back of vacuum, locate hose end plugged into body. Press the gray rectangular release tab IN toward the hose. While holding tab, pull hose straight out. Do not twist.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK Debris may be jammed in the port. Use a long, thin object to clear port while wiggling the hose release.
HEADS UP Never force it by twisting the hose itself. You'll crack the plastic housing where the hose inserts.
