DIAGNOSIS Error code F2 indicates a fault with the humidity sensor. The sensor cannot detect steam properly, so all automatic sensor cooking, reheating, and defrost modes will fail.
FIX First, ensure the interior of the microwave and the sensor area (a small vent/grille on the interior wall) are completely clean and dry. Wipe it with a damp cloth. Unplug the unit for 5 minutes to reset the control board. Plug it back in and try a simple sensor function like 'Sensor Reheat' for a cup of water.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The sensor itself may be faulty. You must use manual time/power cooking modes. The F2 code requires a certified technician to replace the sensor assembly.
HEADS UP Do not cover food with airtight lids during sensor cooking. The sensor needs to measure escaping steam. Use a loose cover or vented lid.
