my blender won't turn on at all, the lights don't do anything. checked the outlet and it's fine.

The thermal fuse has tripped. Unplug the unit. Let it rest for 15 minutes to reset. Plug it back in.

Do not use an extension cord. This can cause electrical issues. Plug directly into a wall outlet.

If it still doesn't power on, the cord or plug is damaged. Return it to an authorized Cuisinart service facility. Do not attempt to open the base panel.
