Diagnosis
The flashing red On light is a standby indicator. It means the Consciot 11-Piece Blender is powered on and in a pre-operation state, but the motor cannot start because a specific blending speed hasn't been selected. This is a design feature, not an error.
How to Fix It
- While the On light is flashing red, press one of the numbered speed buttons (1 through 7) or the "Pulse" button.
- The On light should stop flashing and become solid, the selected speed's light will illuminate, and the blades should immediately begin spinning.
- If the motor doesn't start, the jar is likely not correctly seated. Turn the blender jar clockwise until you hear a distinct 'click' or feel it lock into place. Align the jar so the embossed markings on the base face the front of the motor unit and the handle is to the left or right.
If That Didn't Work
If pressing a speed button after seeing the flashing light still results in no movement, unplug the unit. Check that no food debris is jamming the blade assembly, and ensure the jar's sealing ring is properly in place. Plug it back in, press 'On' to get the flashing red light, and try a speed button again. If the unit overheats, it may also flash to indicate a thermal cut-off; unplug it and let it cool for 30-45 minutes before trying again.
Heads Up
Never operate the blender without the jar properly locked in place, as this can damage the drive system. Always ensure the lid is securely fastened before starting to avoid spills.
