The charger isn't getting power or is damaged. Check the power source and cord first.
- Plug the charger directly into a working 120V outlet. Do not use an extension cord unless absolutely necessary. If you must, ensure it's a heavy-gauge outdoor-rated cord. An undersized cord will cause a drop in voltage and overheating.
- Inspect the charger cord and plug for damage. Do not operate the charger with a damaged cord or plug.
- Make sure the cord is fully seated in the outlet and the charger. Pull by the plug, not the cord, when disconnecting.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK: The charger itself may have failed. Do not operate the charger if it has been dropped or received a sharp blow. Take it to an authorized DeWalt service center for repair. Do not disassemble it.
HEADS UP: Only charge DeWalt 20V Max battery packs with the designated charger. Using another charger creates a risk of fire.
