Diagnosis
The display shows PF. This indicates a Power Failure. The microwave's internal clock lost power and reset itself.
How to Fix It
This is a reset state, not a fault. Press the Clear/Off button. The PF message will disappear. You must then reset the current time. Press Clock. Use the number pad to enter the time. Press Clock again to set it. The unit is now operational.
If That Didn't Work
If PF returns immediately or the unit is completely dead, check the power source. Ensure the plug is fully seated in the outlet. Test the outlet with another appliance. The issue is likely a tripped GFCI outlet or a loose plug, not the microwave.
Heads Up
A brief power flicker in your home can trigger PF. Setting the clock is required to clear it and use timed functions like Cook Time or Delay Start.
