my iphone says it's connected but the shipping app just says 'printer not found' or 'offline'

— asked by Jamie

DIAGNOSIS The app doesn't have Bluetooth permission, or it's trying to connect via a network protocol (like AirPrint) which this printer doesn't support.

FIX Grant Bluetooth permissions to the shipping app. 1. Go to iPhone Settings > Privacy & Security > Bluetooth. 2. Find your shipping app (e.g., Pirate Ship, Shopify, eBay) in the list and ensure the toggle is ON (green). 3. Force-close the shipping app and reopen it. 4. Go to the app's print settings and select "JADENS" from the Bluetooth printer list—not the generic AirPrint option.

IF THAT DIDN'T WORK Your iPhone might be connected to multiple Bluetooth accessories causing interference. Temporarily turn off Bluetooth for your watch, headphones, or car stereo, then restart the shipping app and try printing again.

HEADS UP This is a Bluetooth-only printer. The "Nearby Printer" or AirPrint option in some apps will never work. You must always select the dedicated Bluetooth printer menu within the app's settings.
