Diagnosis
That's detergent residue, which means the AutoDos system is likely dispensing too much powder for your water conditions. The system calibrates itself, but if your water is very soft, it can over-deliver.
How to Fix It
You need to adjust the detergent dosage setting. On the control panel, go to the settings menu (the wrench icon), navigate to "AutoDos," and then to "Dosage." You'll see a setting from 1 to 6. The default is usually 4. Try lowering it to 3 or even 2. Run a few cycles and check for improvement. Also, make sure you're using ONLY Miele PowerDisks or the approved Miele powder for the separate compartment; other detergents will screw up the dosing.
If That Didn't Work
Check your water hardness setting in the same settings menu. If it's set too high, the machine thinks it needs more detergent to combat hardness. You can look up your local water hardness or use the test strip that came with the dishwasher to get the right number. Re-run the setup wizard for water hardness.
Heads Up
Rinse aid is still crucial, even with AutoDos. Make sure the rinse aid dispenser is filled and its setting (also in the menu) isn't turned off or set too low. It helps sheets water off and prevents spots and film.
