The plug is polarized. One blade is wider than the other. If it doesn't fit the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still doesn't fit, contact an electrician. Do not modify the plug.
Check the cord for damage. Do not operate with a damaged cord or plug. Unplug it and return it to an Authorized Service Center for repair. Do not attempt to splice or replace the cord yourself.
