DIAGNOSIS The machine is stuck in its initial cooling cycle, which can happen if the compressor delay timer gets interrupted or the ambient temperature is too warm. It's not detecting the proper conditions to start the ice-making phase.
FIX Unplug the unit for a full 10 minutes. While unplugged, ensure it's in a room under 90°F (32°C) and not in direct sunlight. Plug it back in, press the Power button, then immediately press the Ice Making button to select your cube size. Do not touch any other buttons. It should begin making ice within 15-20 minutes.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK Check if the water pump is running. Listen for a soft hum or gurgle from the bottom. If it's silent, the pump might be air-locked. Use the included scoop to gently agitate the water in the reservoir to prime the pump.
HEADS UP The first cycle always takes the longest—up to 30 minutes. Constantly opening the lid or pressing buttons resets internal timers and delays ice production further.
