Most likely cause is the electronic protection system engaging. It shuts off power if the battery is overloaded or overheated.
- Remove the battery from the drill.
- Press the battery's charge indicator button to check the status. Ensure it shows sufficient charge.
- Let the battery and drill sit for 15-20 minutes to cool down completely.
- Reinstall the battery firmly until it clicks.
- Pull the trigger. If it works, you were exceeding the tool's capacity or it was too hot.
If that didn't work: Try a different ONE+ 18V Lithium+ battery, if you have one. The issue could be a faulty battery cell. Also, inspect the battery contacts on the drill and battery for dirt or damage; clean them with a dry cloth.
Heads up: The IntelliCell™ protection is there to prevent damage. If the tool repeatedly shuts off during normal use, the battery or tool may need service. The tool has a 3-year European warranty if registered within 30 days of purchase.
