Yeah, a pulsing yellow light is a specific state, not necessarily a break. It means the unit is in the middle of a factory reset. You probably held the reset button down.
If you meant to reset it, just let it finish. The pulsing will continue for a bit, then it will likely go into setup mode (blue pulse). You'll then need to re-add it to your network through the Deco app like it's a new unit.
If you didn't mean to reset it, something might have pressed the recessed reset button. Once the pulsing yellow stops, the unit will be wiped. You have two choices:
- Set it up again as a new satellite in your existing network via the app.
- If it was your main Deco, you'll have to run the full initial setup again for your entire network.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK: If the yellow pulse seems stuck for an abnormally long time (over 5 minutes), the unit might be frozen. Perform a hard power cycle: unplug it, wait a full minute, then plug it back in. It should either finish resetting or revert to its previous state if the reset was interrupted.
HEADS UP: The reset button is sensitive—a one-second press is all it takes. Keep units where the button won't get accidentally pressed by other equipment or during cleaning.
