A solid purple light indicates the node is ready for setup. Proceed with the Linksys app.
- Ensure the primary node is connected to your modem via an Ethernet cable plugged into the yellow Internet port.
- Download the Linksys app (iOS 11.4+ or Android 6+).
- Open the app, create a Linksys Smart Wi-Fi account, and follow the on-screen instructions.
The app will guide you through naming your Wi-Fi, setting a password, and completing setup. If you're adding this as a new parent node to an existing system, you must factory reset all nodes first, then add them after this new node is working.
If the light is blinking purple, setup is already in progress—just continue in the app.
