A solid yellow light indicates a weak connection, but this status is only for child nodes. It means it's too far from the parent node or there are too many obstructions.
Here's what you can do:
- Move the child node closer to the parent node. Try to reduce the number of walls or large metal objects between them.
- Check the light again after moving it. It should turn solid blue when connected properly.
- If moving it isn't practical, you can connect the child node to the parent node using an Ethernet cable. Plug one end into any Ethernet port on the child node and the other into an Ethernet port on the parent node.
If that didn't work, try power cycling both nodes. Turn them off, wait 30 seconds, and turn them back on starting with the parent node.
