DIAGNOSIS A clog in the main airflow path. This is almost always in the bin cyclone assembly or the hose.
FIX Empty the dust bin. Detach the bin from the stick. Remove the metal filter at the top of the bin. Look through the clear plastic cyclone chamber for a blockage. Check the hose by detaching it from both ends—look through it and use a long, flexible object to clear it. Reassemble, ensuring all latches click.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The HEPA filter at the front of the bin is saturated and needs replacement. It is not washable. Replace with part VCA-F75A.
HEADS UP Never use the vacuum to pick up large debris like cereal or ashes. It will instantly clog the cyclones. Use a broom first.
