DIAGNOSIS The wireless setup on these can be finicky, especially with modern dual-band routers. It often fails if you're trying to connect to a 5GHz network or one with certain security settings (like WPA3).
FIX The most reliable method is the WPS button push. On your router, press the WPS button. Within 2 minutes, on the printer's control panel, hold down the Wi-Fi button until the light starts flashing. It should connect automatically. If your router doesn't have WPS, you'll need to connect via USB cable first to run the setup software from Epson's website.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK Temporarily change your router's 2.4GHz band to use WPA2 (AES) security only, not a mixed mode or WPA3. Also, make sure the network name (SSID) doesn't have special characters or spaces.
HEADS UP This printer only supports 2.4GHz networks, not 5GHz. If your router broadcasts both under the same name, you might need to temporarily disable the 5GHz band during setup to force the printer onto the right one.
