Diagnosis
The internal storage on the Android TV chip is likely full or corrupted, a common issue over time as apps update and cache data builds up.
How to Fix It
Let's do a two-part cleanup. 1) Go to Settings > Device Preferences > Storage. See how much space is free. 2) Go to 'Apps', select each app you don't use often, and 'Clear Cache'. For problematic apps, hit 'Clear Data' too (you'll have to log back in). 3) Finally, restart the projector properly: hold down the power button on the remote for 5 seconds and select 'Restart'. Don't just put it to sleep.
If That Didn't Work
If it's still sluggish, a factory reset of the Android TV system is the next step. This wipes all your logged-in apps and settings. In Settings > Device Preferences > Reset, choose 'Factory data reset'. You'll have to set up Wi-Fi and reinstall your apps (Netflix, etc.), but it often solves deep-seated performance issues.
Heads Up
The processor in these smart projectors isn't as powerful as a dedicated streaming stick. To avoid this, consider using an external device like a Roku or Apple TV plugged into an HDMI port. It takes the load off the projector's brain and usually gives a smoother experience.
