Diagnosis
A complete loss of power points to an internal safety trip or a failed control unit. The most common cause is a thermal fuse or door switch fault.
How to Fix It
Perform a hard reset. Turn off the circuit breaker for the dishwasher for 5 minutes. Restore power. Open and close the door firmly. Listen for a relay click inside the door. If the panel illuminates, the issue was a control board reset.
If That Didn't Work
The door switch or main wiring harness may be faulty. The unit has no power if the door switch does not engage. Testing requires a multimeter at the main control board connection inside the door panel.
Heads Up
Verify power at the junction box under the unit. A dedicated 120V circuit is required. A GFCI outlet that has tripped upstream will also cause a dead panel, even if the outlet seems functional for other devices.
