DIAGNOSIS The KVM (Keyboard, Video, Mouse) auto-switch function is failing. This is usually due to incorrect cable connections or source priority settings.
FIX Verify your physical connections. Computer 1 must be connected via USB-C. Computer 2 must be connected via DisplayPort or HDMI AND the USB-B upstream cable for peripheral data. The monitor's USB-A ports connect your shared keyboard and mouse. Do not mix this up.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK Manually set the source priority. Go to Menu > Input Source. Select the primary computer's input (e.g., USB-C). Then, go to Menu > USB-C / USB-B > USB-C Priority and set it to 'On' if Computer 1 is on USB-C. For auto-switch, ensure 'Auto-Scan' in the Input Source menu is 'On'.
HEADS UP The KVM only switches when the target computer is awake and outputting a video signal. It will not switch to a sleeping or powered-off machine.
