DIAGNOSIS This is almost always a power supply issue, not a dead fridge. Check the plug, outlet, and cord.
FIX Unplug the fridge. Check that the power cord is fully seated in the socket on the back of the unit—it can work loose. Plug it into a different, known-working wall outlet with no extension cord or power strip. Listen for a faint hum or feel for vibration after 30 seconds.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The internal thermal fuse may have blown from overheating. This happens if the fridge was against a wall or in a cabinet without proper ventilation. Unplug it for at least 2 hours to let it cool down completely, then plug it back in. This can sometimes reset the protection circuit.
HEADS UP Never use an extension cord with this fridge. specifically warns against it because voltage drop can cause the compressor to fail or not start.
