DIAGNOSIS The peel-off mode is disabled in the printer's internal settings. It defaults to 'Cutter' or 'Tear-off' mode.
FIX You must change the media handling mode via a command sequence. Turn the printer off. Hold down the PAIR and FEED buttons simultaneously. While holding them, press the POWER button. Continue holding all three for 5 seconds until LEDs cycle. Release. The printer will print a configuration label. Locate the 'MODE' or 'MEDIA SENSING' line. If it says 'CUTTER' or 'TEAR', you need to send a ZPL command to change it. The command is `^MMP` for Peel-Off mode. This must be sent from your software at the start of a print job.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The label stock is not properly routed over the metal peel bar. Open the lid. The label must travel under the metal bar, then make a sharp downward turn over its edge. Ensure the bar is clean and not bent.
HEADS UP In peel-off mode, the printer will wait for you to remove the label before printing the next one. A delay of 5-10 seconds between labels is normal.
